Our story begins in the highlands of Guatemala, on the volcanic shores of magical Lake Atitlan...
From generation to generation, our family was perfecting the craft of beading, from our home in the small village of Santiago Atitlan.
My grandmother Maria made her first beaded design in 1946, and my mother Elena grew up in a house full of beads. They were constantly working on new designs, perfecting their skills. Naturally, I was raised to love beading.
My name is Yensi, and together with my mother Elena, we proudly bring you ArtizMade - unique handmade goods, from our home on the Magical Lake Atitlan.
